Could you help me with my butt plug?

I've been wanting to get a butt plug for a while now and I have finally decided to go ahead and order one.  I started checking out a couple of my favorite sites and now,  here I am a couple hours later, confused as to what I want. There are so many options. Omg I had no idea what I was getting into.

I thought I would reach out to my kinky online friends for some advice.......

My first thought regarding size is that I should go with something a little on the bigger side because I've got experience in that department, I can handle it. But then I thought about it being a plug and staying in place for any amount of time so maybe I should go with something smaller..........  I have a way of talking myself around in circles without a resolution.Maybe some of you with more experience can help me out on this on this one.

Here are my questions:

Being that this is my first plug, which size would be best?

Does the shape really make a difference?

Glass, stainless steel or silicone?

To vibrate or not to vibrate?

Anything else I should know?

As you can see, I'm at a total loss with this. So, any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.

  2. The advice i was given was also silicone and to get the "mood naughty" it's called. The thing's been sitting in my amazon cart for months on end... so not speaking from personal experience.

  3. I agree...silicone is definitely more comfortable. I wouldn't go too small if you are already experienced back there. I don't use lube anymore...spit seems to work better. Lube just makes it want to slide right out. I haven't noticed much difference with shape. In fact, I most of the time use a flexible dildo with a flat end rather than an actual plug. Personally, I don't find a vibrating one much better than a not vibrating...but that's just me.

  4. Mood naughty! Medium or large. Large is still pretty small.

  5. In a month you'll have 5 or 6! Haha. I would suggest going with a beginners silicone plug, they are inexpensive so just something to break the ice. He orders mine and I wear what he chooses. Conical plugs are nice to play with. As you insert them the diameter increases with depth. If he's not putting it in I would suggest squatting first time but whatever floats your boat my dear :) welcome to club plug!!

Another option is to consider (perhaps not as a starter) is inflatable butt plugs.

  8. I bought the silicone "anal trainer" kit, which came in three sizes (I still think the big is too big) but if you want something to stay in for a few hours as a sort of "wear and think about me" sort of thing, silicone isn't the way to go-- it pops out. I hear stainless is better. I just bought a set (came in two sizes) but haven't tried them out yet because my husband has been gone (FOR 2 DAMN MONTHS!). sorry. can you tell I'm ready for him to get back???

I sure hope that man comes home before you spontaneously combust. ;-)

  10. bonnie, i have many. ::blushing:: silicone doesn't work for me personally because i'm allergic to anything synthetic so that's annoying but whatever. i have glass. some are pricey, others are not. i'll post a link to the one that i started with and the one that i use most of the time. i wouldn't use lube unless you're going to be staying at home because like others have mentioned, the plug will pop right out.

    medium sized: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0027CU356/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

i also own the large one as well, but it isn't for all-day play (IMO), but what IS nice is when i put that one in the other area and my husband takes me from behind. it's a thrilling, full feeling -- for both of us.

aside from easy sanitation, the glass can be easily warmed up (run hot water over it for a little while) and the warmth makes the muscles 'warm' up to the new sensation, making it easier for insertion. have fun with them. :) hugs, m.

    1. Glass sounds delicious and oh so pretty. :-) I really like these.

BTW Clyde read this comment and really liked your idea for play. You've actually got him excited for the plug now. Lol

      Thanks so much Maryanne.

  11. I know that you got lots of comments, and I'm late to the party, but I wanted to chime in for the medium sized njoy plug. It's stainless steel, stays put, has an awesome shape, can be washed in soapy or boiling water, can be warmed or cooled, and can really be worn anywhere.
As a side note...I was told that the small one doesn't stay put as well, though if you were just wearing it in the bedroom, I doubt that would be an issue.
